Ruined Bell Tower
An Cloigtheach Bui or "The Yellow Steeple". This 14th century bell tower is the only substantial remnant of the Augustinian Priory of St. Mary in Trim, Ireland. It was heavily damaged in the mid 17th century wars. A statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary known as the "Idol of Trim" was venerated here in the middle ages but was destroyed during the reformation.
