The Burren
Wind twisted Blackthorns make a stand along a stone wall near Poulnabrone Megalithic Tomb in The Burren area of County Claire, Ireland. The Burren is a fascinating region in the west of Ireland. It is windy, mostly treeless and covered with fields of limestone which makes for no shortage of great stone walls. These gnarled trees and stone wall seem organically fused, like one thing that grew whole out of this bleak and beautiful landscape.
