Road to Nowhere

I was staying In Alpine, Texas outside of Big Bend National Park when we were hit with a once in a century Ice storm. It shut everything down for days. It caused many troubles for tourists and locals alike, but I felt so lucky to be there. Everything became shrouded in a quiet white mist with the only sound the occasional cracking of the ice on the cottonwood Trees.
