Winged beings with halos and bird petroglyphs at Three Rivers National Historic Site in New Mexico. Three Rivers, to me, is like an ancient art gallery. The artists did their work on a long raised spine of rock that would make their works highly visible, and as you would stand up there you were ringed by beautiful peaks. The perfect setting.
